So you have decided to give your life to christ and walk in his path. Out of no where, you are surrounded with challenges and tribulations like never before. What gives? Before you decided to follow christ and was still in the world, you were not a treat to the devil. You were both in the same camp. So he didnt have to make your life a living hell. But when you decided to go and join the camp of the lord of hosts, he started seeing you as a challenge. You became a treat to him and his kingdom. The devil knows the power you carry when you are equipped with the word of the lord and have God on your side. So in order to win you back into his camp he will do anything to get you off your walk with christ. You might loose your job, develop incurable diseases, everything that could go wrong will start going wrong. So that you might ask if walking with christ was really worth it. Brethrens, hold steadfast on that path with christ. He is a rewarder of those who deligently seeks him. Just like the case of Job, who was afflicted with sores and boils all over his body and lost all his 10 children and all his property in the span of one day but still praised the lord. His wife told him to curse God and die, but he refused to do that and all that was lost was returned back to him twice- fold. God will not give you more than you can handle. It might seem too much right now but its to get you ready for the testimony of tomorrow. 1 Corinthians 10:13 Says; No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. In John 16:33 he also said, “in me you have peace and in the world you will have tribulation; but take heart, I have overcome the world”. Through your trials and tribulations stay steadfast in the lord. He will make all your crooked ways straight. He will not leave you nor forsake you. He can do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think. Call onto him during your tribulations and he will hide you in his secret place.
