2 Chronicles 20:17 “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” Friend I believe you are at a place in your life where Jehoshaphat and God’s people found themselves. The enemy had them surrounded and had every intention to wipe them off the face of the earth but God had other plans. In desperation Jehoshaphat set himself to seek God through prayer and fasting crying and pouring his heart out to God. Listen to the earnestness of his prayer, in 2 Chronicles 20:11,12 “Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.” Have you been in that place lately where you don’t know what to do or where to go, but you are trusting God to come through for you? He will come through for you. God will not fail you. He promised never to leave you nor forsake you. In response to Jehoshaphat’s prayer the Holy Ghost came on Jahaziel and prophesied to the king saying, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” I don’t know about you but I’ve got a feeling down in my soul that everything is going to be alright in your life, in your circumstances, in your family, in your finances and in your health. God is on your side. You are not going under you are going over. God is about to fight for you on a level that you have yet to experience. God is about to blow your mind. God answered Jehoshaphat and fought for him. The bible says in 2 Chronicles 20:22-24 “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.” You ought to life your hands to God and begin to praise Him right now. As soon as Jehoshaphat and the people began to praise God he fought for them and defeated their enemies. The bible says none escaped. Not only did God defeated their enemies but the bible says that Jehoshaphat and his men were three days collecting the spoils of the enemy because it was too much and more than they could carry. That is the kind of breakthrough God is about to give to you and me. It will be more than we could carry. My God I got a feeling down in my spirit man that everything’s going to be alright.
