1samuel.25:36-38. And Abigail came to Nabal and behold he held a feast in his house like the feast of a king. And Nabal’s heart was merry within him, for he was drunk: therefore she told him nothing less or more until the morning light. (What can you discus with a drunkard, he is out of his senses) But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal and his wife told him these things that his heart died within him and he became as a stone. And it came to pass about ten days after that the Lord smote Nabal that he died. A drunkard can drop dead any time. I was travelling on the highway in a country and I read this sign post that inspired me to write this tonight. The sign post reads ‘YOUR ARE RISKY AFTER TAKING WHISKY” that mean you constitute a great danger to yourself and other when after you have consumed alcohol. You endanger your health; you damage your eternal organs when you take alcohol, you risky dying prematurely, you make your wife a widow and your children orphans. You constitute a great risk and danger to other road users if after taking alcohol you go behind the wheel. Think of what King Herod did to John the Baptist after drinking alcohol. Mark.6:21-27. And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee; And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee. And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist. And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, Think of the sacrilege Belshazzar taking sacred vessel to drink alcohol and the judgment that came on him. Daniel.5:1-30. Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand. Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein. Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone. In the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king’s countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another. And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old. Please take time to read the whole chapter in your bible and learn from it for your own good. Pro.23:20, 31, 32. Be not among winebibbers. Look not thou upon the wine when is red, when it giveth his color in the cup- At last it biteth like a serpent and stingeth like an adder. Did you hear the news from one of the world reputable media the other day that Alcoholic related disease killed more people last year than AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria put together killed? Did read the world health organization’s (WHO) report, that Alcohol caused 2.5 million deaths every year, while smoking causes nearly 5million deaths every year all over the world? And yet alcoholic beverage and cigarette companies are turning in billions of dollars blood money in profit. While millions of youths, adult men and women are perishing every day, O Lord have mercy. I charge you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to repent and Jesus will set you free. Children of God rise up and preach the saving gospel as never before, as the devil is determined more than ever before to destroy a lot of people and take them to hellfire. The devil has deceived billions of people telling them that drinking alcohol and smoking are for pleasure and enjoyment. There is no enjoyment pleasure in alcohol consumption and smoking but destruction and deterioration of your health. Some of you have tried without success to break the habit of drinking alcohol or smoking to no avail. Rom.7:15. For that which I do I allow not, for what I would that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. This is the situation of many people who are in captive of alcohol and cigarette smoking. But to be free all you need to do is to come with sincere repentance and faith to Jesus, He will set you totally free. He did it for me and I know and believe He will do it for you too. John.8:32, 36. And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. And if the son of man Jesus Christ shall set you free, ye shall be free indeed. To the manufacturers, distributors and sellers of alcohol and cigarette repent and stop such business before it is too late, failure will result into great judgment from an angry God. The government agents that give the license and the person that signs the license will not escape the judgment of God expect they repent today. Stay clear of alcohol, drugs and smoking and you will doing yourself and family a great deal of good. DRUNKARDS, SMOKERS, MANUFACTURERS OF ALCOHOL AND CIGARETTE, AND SELLERS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF THESE DEADLY POISONS AND INDEED ALL SINNERS THE LORD IS CALLING YOU TO REPENT AND ESCAPE THE JUDGMENT OF GOD TO COME.

I have been asked several times why I choose writing poetry and motivating people. Well, my answer is simple: If you find yourself in my side of life, you'll definitely be grateful about the simple things life offers. You'll come to understand that every single day is an opportunity, and a reason to be grateful. I love what I do not because I generate a flow of income from it, but because in what I do, I can define my life and at the same time give meaning to someone elses life. As a poet my perception to life and the things that happen around me is quite endearing. I see life from the angle of possibilities. "Having overtime understood that drooling over situations never change the results, I choose to be optimistic at all levels and sphere of life." Born into a humble background, where my Destiny helper took the pains of seeing me through school as his last born and integrate me into his blissful family. gave me quite the necessary lessons I needed to become the man I have grown to be. Life is simply amazing when you see situations as a class and a needed lesson. I am simply an observer, I try my best to sketch out my tomorrow from my today's views. As a motivator, I see every experiences as a needed tool to help my friends, acquaintance and the entire society towards making the right choices. When you appreciate the person you have become, you can easily define your life's journey from where you came from, having a clear vision and understanding of your desired destination. Self-discovery means many things. It means finding your purpose in life (we all have a purpose), it means digging deep into your childhood and revealing the experiences that shaped you... good and bad. It means realizing what your beliefs are and living by them. The effects of self-discovery include happiness, fulfillment, clarity and maybe even enlightenment! The journey however is not always an easy road. The journey includes fear, confusion, misunderstanding, doubt and literally re-visiting all your choices in life. I like to refer to it as reshuffling of the mind, your emotions and your surroundings (including the people in your life). It requires making some tough decisions and sticking to them. My journey so far has seen me cut people out of my life. I call them the “takers.” They were takers because I allowed them to be and it wasn’t until I realized that many of these relationships were one-sided — self- discovery — that I decided to cut them out. It has also seen me completely change the course of my life and start to follow my true passion and purpose (poetry and motivation). I have also started to set intentions and no longer have expectations from others — okay... this one is really hard for me and it’s a work in progress — but instead I have started to look within for answers. I’ve had several set backs along the way and I have no doubt I will have many more but, I’m not giving up. What I know for sure is that the journey is worth taking. I am slowly becoming my true self, more aware and more tolerant. I am learning how to pay attention to my feelings and understand myself better. What I know for sure is that I have had several unrealistic expectations, which have set up for disappointment. Apparently because I lie to myself. Why do we do this? Why do we lie to ourselves? And more importantly, why do we allow ourselves to get away with it? When someone else lies to me and I find out about it I freak out. “How dare he lie to me? Does she think I’m stupid?” but, we lie to ourselves profusely and even cover up our own lies by accepting them as truth in order to reassure ourselves that it’s okay!!! What I know for sure is that being true to my feelings and accepting the poet and motivator in me and also acknowledging him as well as validating him has released so much fear in me. It has released my fear of not being good enough as well as my fear of not living up to the expectations I set for myself. What I know for sure is that we are usually our own worst enemy. We hold ourselves back in so many ways and accepting who I am, helps me move away from that pattern. The freedom you will feel within yourself starts when you accept the person you are or have become without being bias. However, the universe will give you back in rewards when your passion and obsession for who you are and what you believe in supercedes the challenges and discouragement that comes from your distrators.
