LIFTING UP THE MESSIAH DRAWS PEOPLE TO HIMSELF

Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Joh 12:33 This he said, signifying what death he should die. Joh 12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? Though the above is signifying about the Messiah raising from death it is also true in various spiritual senses. If we lift Him up in all then He shall draw men to Himself. 1. LIFTING HIM UP The Messiah must increase and we must decrease. We should make Him more famous than our names, congregations, ambitions, etc. We should make Him known to the people.
