BLESSED BEYOND RECOGNITION JOB 2:11-12 – Now when JOB’S THREE FRIENDS heard of all this adversity that had come upon him, each one came from his own place-Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. For they had made an appointment together to come and mourn with him, and to comfort him. 12 And when they raised their eyes from afar, and DID NOT RECOGNIZE HIM, they lifted their voices and wept; and each one tore his robe and sprinkled dust on his head toward heaven. When the devil finally had access into Job’s life, he caused so much pain and trouble in his life that it disfigured him. Calamity changed him to the point that his friends could not recognize him. The opposite is also true; when God’s blessing has full access into your life, his grace and power will transform your life beyond recognition. Here are THREE examples from the Bible of people who were blessed [or transformed] beyond recognition. [1.] Joseph – As the 2nd in Command in Egypt, he was so blessed FINANCIALLY, MATERIALLY and SOCIALLY ELEVATED that his brothers could not recognize him. Genesis 42:8 – So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they DID NOT recognize him. [2.] Saul – Prophet Samuel predicted that he would be so blessed SPIRITUALLY, that he would be transformed into ANOTHER MAN. 1st SAMUEL 10:6 – “Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into ANOTHER man. [3.] The blind man – He was so PHYSICALLY blessed when Jesus healed him and restored his sight, that his neighbors COULD NOT recognize him. John 9:7- And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. 8 Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?” 9 SOME SAID, “This is he.” OTHERS SAID, “He is like him.” HE SAID, “I am he.” DECREE: In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I decree that the grace, blessing and power of God has full access and expression in YOUR life, removes and destroys every yoke and burden of the enemy, and transforms YOUR life completely. May YOU be truly blessed beyond recognition, spiritually, physically, financially, materially, socially, and in every area of your life. And MAY IT ALL be for the glory of God, and for the good of His Kingdom and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and also for your good, and for the good of all that concerns you. [John 14:14, Job 22:28, Isaiah 10:27, Psalm 138:8, Philippians 4:20]
